How to Play
AD Exodia is a five-cost-heavy late-game plan, pushing to level 9 for Draven and the seven-cost Elder Dragon behind a wall of five-cost tanks. If you're handed AP components instead, itemise Kennen rather than forcing an AD line.
Core Units

Draven
5-cost Carry

Elder Dragon
5-cost Carry

Maokai
5-cost Frontline

Ancient Sentinel
4-cost Frontline

Kennen
5-cost Frontline

Amumu
4-cost Frontline

Taric

Ivern
5-cost Frontline
Early Game
This comp is gold-intensive, so prioritise economy over board strength early. Ancient Sentinel and Amumu are the cheapest pieces and can be played from the mid-game onward.
Mid Game
Push through level 8 while banking for your five-cost frontline of Maokai, Kennen, Taric, and Ivern. Draven himself doesn't need to be found until you're close to your final board.
Late Game and Final Board
Elder Dragon is a seven-cost unit and genuinely hard to hit, so treat him as a bonus rather than a plan; Draven alone behind this frontline is already a strong board.
Best Items
Draven wants Guinsoo's Rageblade and Kraken's Fury; Elder Dragon runs Deathblade and Infinity Edge; Maokai takes pure tank stats.
Best Augments
Cognitive Tax and One, Two, Five! suit the early game; Birthday Reunion and Epoch support the mid game; Upward Mobility and Level Up! close it out.
Positioning
Maokai, Ancient Sentinel, Kennen, Amumu, Taric, and Ivern form an unusually wide frontline. Keep Draven and Elder Dragon in separate backline corners.
Flex Units and Alternative Carries
If you're handed AP items instead of AD, Kennen can absorb them as an alternate damage source.
Strengths and Weaknesses
A genuinely tanky late-game board with two real damage threats. The comp is slow and gold-intensive to assemble, and Elder Dragon's seven-cost rarity means the late-game ceiling isn't guaranteed.
