How to Play
Defender Cassiopeia is the most consistently agreed-upon S tier comp in the current meta, rated S or OP across every major tracker. You reroll at level 7 for a two or three star Cassiopeia behind a wall of six Defenders, then add Lillia or Soraka as a secondary caster once your frontline is set.

Early Game
Play whatever early units you're handed and prioritise economy over board strength. Ornn, Leona, and Shen are all cheap Defender bodies worth holding from the opening rounds, since you'll want six Defenders on board by the time you commit.
Mid Game
Hold at level 7 and slow roll for Cassiopeia, Rammus, and Fiddlesticks copies rather than pushing levels further. Six Defenders is the trait's top breakpoint, so Lillia and Soraka can fill the last two board slots as soon as your frontline three are two star.
Late Game and Final Board
Once Cassiopeia is three star with her core items, this comp beats almost anything in the current meta at equal levels. Fiddlesticks' area cast and Rammus's taunt buy Cassiopeia the time she needs to poison down the enemy team from range.
Best Items
Blighting Jewel components into Hextech Gunblade and Spear of Shojin are Cassiopeia's best-in-slot items, with Void Staff as a third slot against tanky lobbies. Rammus wants pure tank stats: Sunfire Cape, Titan's Resolve, and Ionic Spark all work.
Best Augments
Defender Emblem lets you hit six Defenders a level early. Dawncore and Find Your Center both suit Cassiopeia's mana-hungry poison cast, and a Cassiopeia-specific augment from an orb is worth taking on sight if offered.
Positioning
Your six Defenders form a wall across the front two rows. Keep Cassiopeia in the safest backline corner available, and position Fiddlesticks so his cast can hit the largest possible cluster of enemies as they approach.
Flex Units and Alternative Carries
Leona and Shen are interchangeable Defender bodies; swap whichever you find first. Lillia and Soraka are both flexible in the last two slots depending on whether you need more damage or more sustain.
Strengths and Weaknesses
The strongest, most stable comp in the early Set 18 meta by a clear margin, with agreement across every tracker checked. Its weakness is commitment: rerolling at 7 means you're intentionally behind on level for a stretch, so a rough early game before you find your copies can be costly.
