Early Game

Alistar and Amumu are the cheapest pieces and can be played from the mid game onward. Prioritise economy heavily, same as its sibling build.

Mid Game

Push through level 8 while banking for your five-cost frontline. Pair Taric with Kennen once both are on board.

Late Game and Final Board

Ezreal and Soraka cover a safe ranged carry and an AP burst-and-sustain caster, giving you two different win conditions behind the same tanky shell.

Best Items

Ezreal wants Giant Slayer and Spear of Shojin; Soraka runs Spear of Shojin and Rabadon's Deathcap; Kennen takes Hand Of Justice and Striker's Flail; Maokai takes pure tank stats plus Crownguard.

Best Augments

Late Game Specialist and One Two Five! suit the early game; Late Game Scaling and Slammin' support the mid game; Upward Mobility and Baron's Lair close it out.

Positioning

Kennen, Maokai, Ivern, Gnar, Taric, Alistar, and Amumu form a very wide frontline, with Taric paired next to Kennen.

Flex Units and Alternative Carries

This comp and The Final Forest share the same shell; pivot between the two based on whether Draven or Soraka's items come first.

Strengths and Weaknesses

Two real carries behind a very tanky frontline. Like its sibling build, it's slow and gold-intensive to assemble, earning its Hard rating.
