A tier S TFT Set 18 ranked comp for patch 18.1: how to build it, which items and augments to prioritise, and how to position it.

How to Play

Rise and Vine slow rolls at level 6 for three-star copies of Xayah, Kayle, Ornn, and Sejuani, all cheap enough to hit three star reliably. This comp has a built-in Shred effect, so skip anti-armour items you'd normally prioritise.

Early Game

Rakan, Elise, and Leona are cheap early bodies that fit the final shell. Play a normal econ opening while banking toward level 6.

Mid Game

Hold at level 6 and slow roll for your four core two-star-plus targets. LeBlanc can absorb leftover AP items while you look for your main pieces.

Late Game and Final Board

Four cheap units all reaching three star gives this comp a very high damage ceiling for how little gold it costs. Itemise Ornn early since he farms a bonus artifact from tanking hits.

Best Items

Xayah and Kayle both want Guinsoo's Rageblade and Giant Slayer; Ornn and Sejuani run pure tank stats.

Best Augments

Missed Connections and Building an Army suit the early roll-down; No Scout No Pivot and Heroic Grab Bag support the mid game; Buried Treasures III and Golden Ticket close it out.

Positioning

Rakan, Elise, Ornn, and Sejuani hold the front. Keep Xayah, Kayle, and LeBlanc in the back row.

Flex Units and Alternative Carries

LeBlanc and Leona are the flexible slots depending on what your lobby offers.

Strengths and Weaknesses

Extremely cheap to reach three stars across four units, giving a strong gold-to-power ratio. Do not buy XP at 2-1 on this plan; roll instead, since early levelling works against the whole reroll structure.
