How to Play
Moonlit Hunt stacks Aphelios, Nidalee, and Alune as three independent carries behind a mid-cost frontline. Play it opportunistically when you're finding pieces for at least two of the three rather than forcing all of them at once.
Core Units
Aphelios
5-cost Carry
Nidalee
4-cost Carry
Alune
5-cost Carry
Amumu
4-cost Frontline
Ancient Sentinel
4-cost Frontline
Diana
3-cost Frontline
Kog'Maw
3-cost Utility
Vi
3-cost Frontline
Varus
1-cost Utility
Early Game
Play a standard econ opening — Varus is a cheap early piece that carries into the final board.
Mid Game
Push through level 8 while adding Ancient Sentinel, Diana, and Vi as frontline. Split your early components between Aphelios and Nidalee rather than committing everything to one.
Late Game and Final Board
Aphelios, Nidalee, and Alune give you three independent damage sources, so a lobby that only gives you one carry's items is still a functional game.
Best Items
Aphelios wants Red Buff and Infinity Edge; Nidalee runs Spear of Shojin and Sterak's Gage; Alune takes Blue Buff and Morellonomicon; your frontline builds pure tank stats.
Best Augments
Backup Bows and One Buff Two Buff suit the early game; Carve a Path supports the mid game; Caretaker's Favor closes it out.
Positioning
Amumu, Ancient Sentinel, Diana, and Vi wall the front. Keep Aphelios, Nidalee, and Alune spread across separate backline corners.
Flex Units and Alternative Carries
Kog'Maw and Varus can both fill in as a fourth damage source once your frontline is stable.
Strengths and Weaknesses
Three carries that don't compete for the same items give this comp real resilience to a bad item lobby. It's still settling in this patch, so expect some week-to-week drift in the exact best frontline shell.
