How to Play
This is the single most contested comp in the current research: rated as high as S+ by one tracker and as low as B by another. Treat it as a genuine A tier median with real upside or downside depending on how the meta settles. It's a three cost reroll with three interchangeable carries in Master Yi, Kog'Maw, and Nidalee.

Early Game
Karma and Gromp are cheap early fill while you build economy. Whichever of your three potential carries you find first should become your roll-down target.
Mid Game
Roll down at level 6 to 7 for two star copies of your chosen carry, using Vi as your frontline tank throughout. Because there are three viable carries in this shell, your item drops should decide which one you commit to rather than picking in advance.
Late Game and Final Board
A three star Master Yi or Kog'Maw with core items can carry a lobby on its own, but sources genuinely disagree on how strong this comp is at the highest level, so don't force it if the lobby is already contesting your carry.
Best Items
Guinsoo's Rageblade and Edge of Night are Master Yi's core survivability-plus-damage build. If Kog'Maw is your primary instead, Spear of Shojin and Rabadon's Deathcap are the priority.
Best Augments
Forge-style augments that hand you extra items support whichever carry you end up committing to. Legion of Threes and similar Adaptor-flavoured pickups suit the trait.
Positioning
Vi holds the front alone in the early game; add more frontline as you find it. Keep whichever of Yi, Kog'Maw, or Nidalee is your primary carry in the safest backline corner.
Flex Units and Alternative Carries
Master Yi, Kog'Maw, and Nidalee are genuinely interchangeable; let your item rolls decide which one to commit to rather than fixing it in advance.
Strengths and Weaknesses
Three interchangeable carries give this comp real flexibility. Its weakness is the same flexibility cutting both ways: this is the widest tier disagreement found in the current research, so results may vary more than with the other comps on this list.
